My Choice

This week, we got to do a photography project entirely of our own choice. I decided to explore the world of fashion editorials, with a new twist in mind. My question was, "what happens when you substitute the fashion model for a fashion illustration?" Well, this...

As always, comments are welcome.

And one I forgot

This shot is one of my favorites from the shoot. It's a bit soft but I think that adds to the mood of photo...

My Newest Expedition

So as you may or may not know, I have recently started on my newest journey, being an art student. My first subject is photography, something I have never explored before. Daunting, yes, but it's been great to learn something new. Here is something I did on Monday of my friend and fellow fashion designer Anmi. They're shots of her in a pool (she loves water) wearing one of her own designs. It was really fun and interesting to see the model side come out of her. Comments would be appreciated.

a quick one

I'm feeling super inspired after completing a fashion illustration painting for my friend Anmi's new shop which is opening next friday. It was a fun challenge working freely with someone else's theme and vision. She loves it! I will post when I have a photo.

I forgot to add

All items from Escape are now for sale and also available as made to order.

Back Home

So if you didn't know, the reason Fairydust has been somewhat abandoned over the past six weeks is because I was traveling Europe! What an experience that was. As compensation for the gap in posts, here are (finally) some photographs of Escape. Enjoy and comment!

Special thanks to my models, Ross, Leandri and Shani and to Laurette, my photographer, for their enthusiasm towards the project!
